How did you first learn about GOCCOPRO products?
One of our senior managers, who was involved in the launch of this facility, had a strong interest in screen printing.
This led him to discover GOCCOPRO through an introductory video on RISO’s YouTube channel.
He was impressed by the fact that GOCCOPRO allows for direct-to-screen prepress from a PC, making it a highly accessible and user-friendly tool for individuals with disabilities.
Consequently, he proposed it to our President.
We were also drawn to the potential for manual craftsmanship within a disability support setting, which led to our decision to implement the system through the distributor.
How is the QS2536 currently utilized at your facility?
We use the QS2536 to make screens for custom designs, such as logos for our café or orders from affiliated organizations.
These designs are then printed onto tote bags, T-shirts, and other merchandise using a printing press.
The finished products are sold to customers at the able! FACTORY café or at various welfare and community events.
How frequently do you use the QS2536?
While it varies depending on our project load, we make screens approximately two to three times a month on average.
We aim to maximize the utilization of this equipment and increase our production volume in the future.
We currently have about 20 registered users at our facility, with an average of eight participants working per day.
Since multi-color printing involves more complex steps that can be challenging for some users, we primarily focus on simple, single-color designs.
What are the primary benefits of implementing the QS2536?
We consider it an exceptional piece of equipment.
In particular, we value its capacity for manual printing, the ability to produce original designs, and the professional, aesthetic quality of the finished products.
The process, where users print products by their hands and customers purchase them because they truly like them, is deeply meaningful.
It aligns perfectly with able! FACTORY’s core concept: “experiencing the Joy of Working.”
What are your future plans for utilizing GOCCOPRO products?
While welfare facilities have become increasingly diverse in recent years, able! FACTORY remains committed to producing high-quality goods through craftsmanship, regardless of whether a disability is present.
Moving forward, we plan to leverage GOCCOPRO products even further to increase sales and, more importantly, to expand the reach of that “joy of working.”
