How did you first come to know about the GOCCOPRO QS200?

The person in charge at the time first discovered the GOCCOPRO at a trade show in Germany.
She had ties with the local printing association, who then introduced her to RISO Hong Kong.

What kinds of classes do you teach using the GOCCOPRO?

We teach students about the basics of printing.
Both the RISOGRAPH and GOCCOPRO make it easy for students to understand the concept of creating separate screens for each color
In class, we print on T-shirts, tote bags, and even lamp covers if students are interested.
Along with the GOCCOPRO and RISOGRAPH, we also explore other printing techniques like printmaking and letterpress printing to help students learn about all aspects of printing.

What kind of classes did you teach before installing the GOCCOPRO？

We used to spend a lot of time making screens with the traditional emulsion system.
In fact, we still outsource some of our screens to China and use traditional screens because we don’t have enough frames now.
However the turnaround time is quite long.

How do you find the GOCCOPRO QS200 after installing it?

With 40 students per class across 7 classes, the GOCCOPRO QS200 is really time-efficient and helpful because it can create screens instantly.
I also think the emulsion-free method is great for the environment.

What kind of paths do students who take this class usually follow in the future?

There are two types of programs that take this class: a diploma in illustration and visual communication (print media).
After graduation, some students go on to work as illustrators, designs, and print companies, as well as start their own brands.
